Empowering Women to Build Financial Confidence and Freedom

Our flagship Financial Literacy Cohort is a transformational learning experience designed to help women of color build a strong financial foundation and take control of their financial futures.

Depending on the season and format, the cohort may be offered as a six-week series, biweekly sessions, or a full-day intensive workshop , allowing for greater accessibility and flexibility for participants. Through engaging workshops and expert-led sessions, participants gain practical financial knowledge and actionable tools.


Each session is facilitated by trusted financial professionals and community experts who make complex concepts approachable, relevant, and empowering. Graduates leave feeling financially confident, informed, and equipped to make sound financial decisions ,creating sustainable pathways toward financial independence and generational wealth.

Featuring: The SIS CEO Academy
Building Businesses, Confidence, and Leaders

The Entrepreneurship & Leadership Academy equips women of color with the tools, strategy, and confidence to build wealth and lead with purpose, whether through entrepreneurship, professional advancement, or community leadership.


Through the SIS CEO Academy, participants gain hands-on guidance in launching and growing sustainable businesses while developing the leadership mindset to excel in every arena , from the boardroom to business ownership. Depending on the format, the Academy may be offered as a six-week series, biweekly sessions, or an 8-hour intensive workshop, allowing flexibility to meet women where they are on their entrepreneurial or leadership journey.


The SIS CEO Academy blends business strategy, leadership development, and digital innovation, empowering women of color to not only participate in the economy but to lead it. Graduates walk away with the mentorship, tools, and mindset to rise, lead, and thrive, creating lasting impact and generational wealth.

Our flagship annual event, The Wellness Code: Women’s Health Summit, brings together women of color from across the Twin Cities for a day of transformation, healing, and empowerment.

The summit explores the powerful connection between mental, physical, and financial health through wellness workshops, keynote speakers, and interactive sessions.


When women of color are healthy , mentally, physically, spiritually, and financially, they can build thriving businesses, lead strong families, and create generational change. This event embodies everything SIS Leadership Foundation stands for Empower. Educate. Elevate.

As SIS Leadership Foundation continues to grow, we are expanding our reach to create even greater opportunities for women of color across Minnesota and beyond. Our vision for the future includes developing new programs and partnerships that align with our mission to empower, educate, and elevate women through financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership development.


Our upcoming initiatives will focus on:

  • Creating new pathways for professional and economic advancement
  • Expanding access to training and mentorship opportunities for women entering or re-entering the workforce
